Delhi Blast: Dr. Shaheen Saeed, arrested in Faridabad, served as a lecturer in the pharmacology department of GSVM Medical College for seven years. Then, she suddenly disappeared. 
Dr. Shaheen Saeed, who was arrested in Faridabad, served as a lecturer in the Pharmacology Department of GSVM Medical College for seven years. In 2013, she disappeared from her job without notice. She continued to receive notices but did not respond. In 2021, the government dismissed her.

According to information received from GSVM Medical College, Dr. Shaheen received her MBBS from Prayagraj Medical College in January 2003 and her MD in December 2005. She was then selected by the Public Service Selection Commission. In August 2006, she joined GSVM Medical College as a lecturer in the Pharmacology Department. In 2009-10, she was transferred to Kannauj Medical College but returned to GSVM after six months.

In 2013, she left her job without notice. She did not respond to repeated notices from the college. The process of action against her began. The government dismissed her from her job in 2021. After the dismissal, Shaheen submitted an application seeking an experience certificate from the college. In the application, she gave her address as Dr. Parvez Saeed, Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine, OPD Complex Integral University, Dasauli, Kursi Road, Lucknow. Shaheen completed her intermediate studies from Lalbagh Girls Inter College, Lucknow. Her husband, ophthalmologist Dr. Hayat Zafar, is a PMS doctor, but they divorced in 2015.

Seeing her mother ill, Shaheen decided to become a doctor.

Shaheen’s father stated that his daughter had always wanted to become a doctor. She made this decision after her mother’s illness. She was deeply moved by the care of doctors during her illness. Neighbors say Shaheen was a simple person.

Locals say Shaheen was bright in her studies and wanted to serve people. It’s unclear how she became involved in suspicious activities. Some even suggested she may have been brainwashed. Locals are unsure if Shaheen has connections with individuals involved in terrorist activities. Family members reported that Shaheen had worked in Delhi for a while. Intelligence agencies are investigating the people she was in contact with. Details of Shaheen’s work are being gathered.

Shaheen and Parvez’s Saharanpur connection

Parvez also had a base in Saharanpur. He ran a clinic there. Dr. Shaheen’s Saharanpur connections have also come to light. In fact, on November 6th, Jammu and Kashmir Police arrested Dr. Adil Ahmed, posted at a hospital on Ambala Road in Saharanpur. Muazzim’s name surfaced only after Adil’s arrest. When Muazzim was arrested, he provided information about Dr. Shaheen. Intelligence agencies are now investigating Shaheen and Parvez’s terrorist connections.
