New Delhi. India has been fighting terrorism for nearly four decades. During this period, Pakistan has sometimes trained terrorists on its soil, sent them to India, and used them to carry out terrorist attacks. At other times, it has established local networks in India and used them to carry out attacks.

In India, it has long been believed that uneducated and economically disadvantaged individuals are brainwashed into becoming terrorists. However, the recent Red Fort terror attack has revealed a network of white-collar terrorists. These terrorists are highly educated medical professionals.

It seems a little difficult to accept that someone with an MBBS or MD degree could be a suicide bomber. This new form of terror has made the country’s fight against terrorism even more difficult. The current issue is to examine the ideology and mentality behind this new face of terror…
